Our quarterly reports summarize key efforts towards our broader sustainability goals and objectives, carried out at our properties across the globe. They provide a snapshot of our collective efforts and the innovative and diverse sustainability programmes we coordinate with our stakeholders.
In our first Rooted issue in 2021, we highlight creative resource conservation efforts by our properties worldwide during the global Earth Hour event. Other highlights in Q1 this year include Banyan Tree Group’s post-COVID wellbeing drive combining personal wellbeing and greater sustainability, with the launch of 16 new Wellbeing Sanctuaries globally in 2021.
In Q4 2020, Banyan Tree Global Foundation launched the Greater Good Grants to support innovative and impactful sustainability projects, now available to external projects further afield from our Group’s immediate operating communities. Other highlights include notable awards won by our properties, as well as our continual efforts to support local communities amidst the global pandemic.
